His marriage with Bethany was no longer a marriage. It was just two people living in the same house, pretending for the world.
He grabbed his keys and left the house without saying a word.
The Meeting
Shara was sitting in a small café across town, her fingers wrapped around a cup of coffee that had already gone cold. She looked nervous, but determined. When Larry walked in, she didn’t smile.
