😱 Isaiah Took Destiny to the Park and Kissed Her There… But Brooke Caught Them Together! 👀
The late afternoon sun dipped low over the park, casting golden light across the quiet walking paths. Isaiah and Destiny sat on a slightly worn wooden bench beneath a tall oak tree, their shoulders just barely touching.
“Are you nervous?” Destiny asked softly, twisting her fingers together in her lap.
Isaiah let out a small laugh. “Yeah… a little. I mean, this feels… big.”
She glanced at him. “It’s just a park.”
“You know that’s not what I mean,” he said, smiling, but his voice carried weight.
A breeze passed through, rustling the leaves above them. Destiny looked down, then back up at him. “Then say it.”
Isaiah hesitated. “Say what?”
“What you’ve been holding back all week.”
He swallowed. “That I like you? That I haven’t been able to think about anything else since that night at the party? That every time my phone buzzes, I hope it’s you?”
Destiny’s lips curved slightly. “You’re late. I already knew all that.”
He shook his head. “No… there’s more.”
She leaned in just a little. “Then don’t stop now.”
“I think…” he paused, searching her eyes, “I think I’ve been lying to myself. About Brooke. About us. I kept pretending everything was fine, but it hasn’t been for a long time.”
Destiny’s expression softened, but there was tension behind it. “Isaiah… she’s still your girlfriend.”
“Technically,” he muttered.
“That’s not something you can just brush off.”
“I’m not brushing it off,” he said quickly. “I’m saying… it’s over. It has been. We just haven’t said it out loud yet.”
Destiny leaned back slightly, studying him. “So what am I then? The thing that made you realize that?”
“No,” he said firmly. “You’re the reason I stopped ignoring it.”
There was a long silence. A couple walked past in the distance, laughing. The world kept moving, but the space between them felt frozen.
Destiny finally spoke. “You can’t start something real by doing something wrong.”
Isaiah nodded slowly. “I know. You’re right.”
He looked away, rubbing the back of his neck. “I just didn’t want to lose this moment… with you.”
Destiny exhaled. “You won’t lose it. Not if it’s real.”
He turned back to her. “It is.”
Their eyes locked. The tension shifted—less uncertain now, more inevitable.
“Isaiah…” she whispered.
“I’m going to talk to Brooke,” he said. “Tonight. No more pretending.”
Destiny searched his face. “Promise?”
“I promise.”
Another pause. Closer this time.
“Okay,” she said quietly.
And then—slowly, like they both knew there was no turning back—Isaiah leaned in. Destiny hesitated for half a second… then met him halfway.
The kiss was soft, but it carried everything they hadn’t said.
And then—
“Wow.”
The voice cut through the moment like glass shattering.
They pulled apart instantly.
Brooke stood a few feet away, her arms crossed, eyes blazing. “I was wondering why you suddenly ‘needed space.’”
Isaiah stood up quickly. “Brooke—”
“No,” she snapped. “Don’t. Don’t even try to explain this.”
Destiny rose too, her face pale. “Brooke, I—”
“You knew,” Brooke said sharply, pointing at her. “You knew we were together.”
Destiny swallowed. “He told me things weren’t okay between you two.”
“Oh, so that makes it fine?” Brooke laughed bitterly. “That gives you permission?”
Isaiah stepped in. “This isn’t all on her. I should’ve ended things properly.”
Brooke turned to him. “But you didn’t. You just… replaced me?”
“That’s not what this is,” he said.
“It looks exactly like that.”
Silence fell heavy again.
Brooke shook her head, her voice quieter now but more cutting. “You could’ve just told me the truth.”
Isaiah’s shoulders dropped. “I was going to. Tonight.”
“After this?” she gestured between them. “How convenient.”
Destiny looked between them, clearly uncomfortable. “I didn’t want to hurt you.”
Brooke scoffed. “That’s funny. Because that’s exactly what you did.”
Isaiah took a step closer to Brooke. “I’m sorry.”
She stepped back immediately. “Don’t. I don’t want your apology right now.”
Her eyes flicked to Destiny. “You can have him. Just don’t expect it to feel as perfect as this little park moment forever.”
“Brooke—” Isaiah started.
“I’m done,” she said firmly.
She turned and walked away, her steps quick but not rushed, like she refused to let them see her break.
The silence she left behind felt heavier than anything before.
Destiny hugged her arms. “That… went worse than I imagined.”
Isaiah stared in the direction Brooke left, guilt written all over his face. “Yeah.”
Another long pause.
Destiny spoke softly. “You need to fix that. Or at least… try to.”
“I will,” he said.
She nodded. “And until you do… we should probably slow down.”
Isaiah looked at her, conflicted. “You mean that?”
“I do,” she said. “I don’t want to be the start of something that ends badly.”
He sighed, but nodded. “Okay.”
Destiny gave a small, sad smile. “For what it’s worth… that kiss?”
“Yeah?”
“It meant something.”
He smiled faintly. “Yeah… it did.”
They stood there for a moment longer, the golden light now fading into evening—everything changed, and nothing simple anymore.
“It’s over,” he said. “For real this time.”
She searched his face. “Are you okay?”
He shrugged slightly. “Not really. But… I think I will be.”
Destiny nodded. “That’s honest.”
They stood there, a little unsure again—but not like before. This time, it wasn’t confusion. It was caution.
Isaiah stepped closer. “I meant what I said earlier.”
“I know,” she replied.
“But I don’t want to rush this,” he added. “Not anymore.”
A small smile appeared on her face. “Good. Because neither do I.”
They sat back down on the bench, leaving a little space between them—but not too much.
“Maybe we start simple,” Destiny suggested. “No drama. No secrets.”
Isaiah nodded. “I’d like that.”
The park lights flickered on one by one as night settled in. This time, there was no rush, no stolen moment—just two people choosing to do things differently.
And somehow, that felt more real than anything before.
