😱 OMG! Lynette Calls Larry and Invites Him to Her Birthday Party 🎂
Larry was sitting alone in the living room late at night, staring at his phone. The house felt empty and quiet. Ever since the big argument with Bethany and everything that happened with Sharra, nothing felt normal anymore. He leaned back on the couch and closed his eyes, trying not to think about all the problems in his life.
Suddenly, his phone started ringing.
He looked at the screen.
Lynette Calling…
Larry frowned. “Lynette? Why is she calling me this late?”
He answered the phone.
“Hello?”
On the other side, Lynette sounded unusually cheerful.
“Larry! Finally, you answered. I thought you were ignoring me.”
Larry sat up straight. “No, I wasn’t ignoring you. I’ve just been busy. Is everything okay?”
Lynette laughed. “Everything is fine. Actually, I called for a special reason.”
Larry rubbed his forehead. “What special reason?”
She paused for a moment and then said excitedly:
“I want to invite you to my birthday party!”
The Invitation
Larry was surprised. “Your birthday party? You’re inviting me?”
“Yes,” Lynette said. “And don’t sound so shocked. I can invite whoever I want.”
Larry smiled a little. “I just didn’t expect that. When is it?”
“This Saturday night. Big party. Music, dinner, lots of people. And you have to come.”
Larry hesitated. “I don’t know, Lynette. Things are kind of complicated right now.”
“Complicated with Bethany?” Lynette asked directly.
Larry didn’t answer for a few seconds. “Yeah… something like that.”
Lynette’s voice became softer.
“Then you really should come. You need a break. You’ve been stressed for months.”
Larry leaned back again and thought about it.
A party… loud music… people… distractions… maybe that’s exactly what he needed.
“Okay,” Larry finally said. “I’ll come.”
Lynette sounded excited. “Good! And Larry… dress nice. This is not a small party.”
Larry laughed a little. “Alright, I will.”
But before he could hang up, Lynette said something strange.
“Oh, and one more thing…”
“What?” Larry asked.
“I invited Bethany too.”
Larry froze.
“You WHAT?”
Larry Gets Nervous
“Yes,” Lynette said calmly. “I invited Bethany. And Sharra might come too.”
Larry stood up from the couch. “Lynette, that’s a terrible idea. You know there’s tension between all of us.”
“I know,” Lynette said. “But sometimes people need to be in the same room to finally tell the truth.”
Larry sighed. “This is going to be a disaster.”
“Or,” Lynette said, “it might be the night everything changes.”
Larry didn’t like the sound of that.
The Night of the Party
Saturday night arrived quickly. Larry stood in front of the mirror adjusting his black shirt and jacket. He looked nervous.
“This is a bad idea,” he said to himself. “This is a really bad idea.”
But he grabbed his keys and left anyway.
When he arrived at Lynette’s house, he could already hear loud music and people talking and laughing inside. Cars were parked everywhere.
He knocked on the door.
Lynette opened it herself, wearing a beautiful red dress and a big smile.
“Larry! You came!” she said and hugged him.
“Yeah,” Larry said, looking around. “This is a big party.”
“I told you,” she said. “Come in.”
He walked inside and saw a lot of people dancing, eating, talking, and laughing. Lights were colorful, music was loud, and the whole place felt like a celebration.
But Larry wasn’t relaxed.
He kept looking around for one person.
Bethany.
The Moment Everything Changes
About 20 minutes later, Larry was standing near the table drinking a soda when the front door opened again.
He looked toward the door.
And his heart nearly stopped.
Bethany walked in.
She looked elegant, calm, and confident. She saw Larry immediately, but she didn’t smile. She just looked at him for a few seconds and then looked away.
Larry whispered to himself, “This is going to be a long night…”
Then, just a few minutes later, the door opened again.
And this time…
Sharra walked in.
Larry closed his eyes.
“Oh no. Lynette, what did you do…”
Lynette walked over to Larry with a small smile and said quietly:
“Welcome to the most interesting birthday party of my life.”
Larry looked at Bethany on one side of the room and Sharra on the other side.
Both of them looked at him at the same time.
He realized something at that moment.
This was not just a birthday party.
This was going to be a night full of drama, truth, jealousy, and decisions that could change all their lives forever.
And the party had only just started.
